How do I clean my Leather and Pebbled Leather Key Organiser?Updated 2 years ago
Our leather bands are made from genuine cowhide leather and will age over regular wear and use.
However, if you would like to maintain the leather we recommend cleaning it with a damp (non-abrasive) cloth and limiting its exposure to direct heat or intense sunlight.
Let it sit and dry naturally. Don't dry it with a blow dryer as this can cause the leather to wrinkle, and shrink. Once dry, you can apply a clear leather cream / conditioner to avoid cracking and drying out. Applying a conditioner or cream will make the leather a bit softer, so only apply this when needed.
For heavier dirt deposits on the leather band, you can use a very mild soap / mild leather cleaner made of natural ingredients. We tried using even a mild hand-washing soap (with a neutral pH), and that works! If you can, avoid using any chemicals/soap on the leather, as it will dry it out.
