The Orbitkey Clip v2 was designed to streamline your carry.

With the detachable open D-ring, you can directly attach your keys, fobs, and/or Key Organiser – eliminating the need for an extra key ring. The Clip v2 comfortably holds up to 10 standard keys.

How secure is the magnetic Fidlock® quick release system?

Very secure. We’ve used the Fidlock-patented quick-release system – and these guys are best known for their expertise in magnetic locking mechanisms.

Thanks to the highly secure magnetic Fidlock® quick release system, the keys can only be released when the tab is pulled forward at a specific angle. This prevents the keys from being accidentally detached from the magnetic mounting plate.

I cannot detach the D-ring. Is there something wrong with my product?

For security reasons, the ring will be a little tight to detach to start with. After detaching/attaching the ring 5-10 times, the correct tightness will be achieved. It will be easier to operate whilst still staying secure.

What is the maximum weight load I can carry with my Clip v2?

Although the Clip has been tested to withstand 3kg pull force in a stationary position, we wouldn’t
recommend attaching anything heavier than 2kg (equivalent to 200 keys) on your Clip (Not that you’d want to be carrying 200 keys on your hip in public).
