Is the Nest/Nest v2 waterproof or water repellant?Updated 9 months ago

Orbitkey Nest isn’t designed to be waterproof. You cannot submerge the unit in water without water getting into the unit.

What is the tray (inside and outside) made out of?

The core/frame of the tray is made of the same material as the lid, which is Polycarbonate, to give the Nest rigidity and, therefore, shock resistance. 

In the base tray, this rigid material is paired with a durable yet beautiful Nylon-blend fabric exterior, making Orbitkey Nest blend into any surface it’s placed on and more comfortable to carry in your hand.

As for the top surface of the lid, we have added a touch of luxury. Natural top-grain leather adds a soft finish for your phone to rest on. It also makes the Orbitkey Nest even more beautiful to look at and interact with.
